I need your help!
I am part of the CARDIAC CLIMBERS, a team participating in the Courage Classic Bike Ride. Becaues of Covid-19, we have not been able to be the typical bike team this year. Group training rides have been cancelled, and the event this year is "virtual". I will be riding with just a few friends on that day, but ride we will! The event weekend is July 18-19, 2020. We will still ride at Copper Mountain and the surrounding area, maintaining proper social distancing and other precautions to keep everyone safe.
I am riding for BLAIZE, a beautiful one year old in need of yet another open heart surgery.
Despite my bad knees, I can still pedal. I can still climb mountains with a heavy backpack on my shoulders. Blaize needs our help to be able to have the chance to grow up with a heart that will allow her to do the same. Could you please donate to the Children's Hospital Colorado Courage Classic, where your funds will help BLAIZE and other patients like her to get the cardiac treatments that could save their lives? Just click the green "donate" button ot the top of this page. THANK YOU!
About the Courage Classic:
Founded in 1990, the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour is the single largest gathering of people coming together to raise money for Children’s Colorado, while honoring the kids we treat. To date, the Courage Classic has raised more than $50 million for Children’s Colorado.
This inspiring community is made up of grateful Children’s Colorado patients and families, dedicated caregivers from the hospital and the community, loyal donors, who believe in our mission, committed volunteers, and corporate partners, investing in kids’ health in the places they do business.
**Pre-Covid-19** With each pedal of the wheel over the course of the two-day tour, 2,000 riders – supported by 300 volunteers - cycle through the beautiful Rocky Mountains and turn resilience and strength into optimism and action.
The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children.
Please donate generously to help these children...
