I "ride" to empower every child in our Adaptve Recreation program at Children's Colorado. As a long time volunteer with the Ski Program, every season, I am insired and in awe of these kids delight in their abilities as skiers and snowboarders and I am so grateful we have this amazing program for these kids and thier famiiies.
THis programs allows our kiddos to set their illness aside and focus on friendhip, cameraderie, their abilities, the outdoors, the bus ride, ice cream day, 'vitamins '(candy) and their abilites. We are grateful to have amazing volunteer instructors (many are staff at the hospital) give their time to our group every weekend for 5 or 10 weeks. I can't think of a better group to suppor with my time and everyone's money-feel free to donate. This is most near and dear to my heart.
The Courage Classic is an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children.
PS Usually I am on the signing the route team to keep the route safe for all riders--will really miss that this year of the Virtual Courage
Love and heartfelt thanks
