Hi friends and family,
I am participating in the Courage Classic this year to support Children's Hospital of Colorado. As many of you know, Melisa completed her pediatrics residency, chief residency, and is now training as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellow, all at CHCO. Every year, this bike ride is organized to support the hospital and all of the amazing things they do for children and families. As the largest Children's Hospital in the region, they not only take care of patients from Colorado, but also see patients from multiple surrounding states, including Kansas, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. This is a huge undertaking and they are at the forefront of innovation in both pediatric medicine and family support.
With the new addition to our family, I have found an even greater appreciation for the pediatric medical care we are lucky to have right in our backyard. I hear amazing stories from Melisa and her colleagues about the incredible things they do every day. I hope Liam never has to go visit Melisa at work, but knowing that it is there provides immense comfort.
With all that said, I will be riding and sweating in the Colorado sun in support of this great institution and hope you will consider donating to this cause. Just click on the link and give whatever sounds good!
