Ok my support team, I am in for year two of Courage Classic! I am honored to be able to do it again. This year I am supporting the Courage Classic for patients like Logan and many more!
Logan was diagnosed with a rare cancerous tumor. Only 350 children in the U.S. had been diagnosed with this form of cancer, and just 30 percent survived. Thanks to the care he received at Children's Hospital Colorado, Logan is a thriving 11-year-old.
Another, near and dear, reason I ride is in honor of someone who is no longer with us. Her father played a big part in my childhood, and her name is Leslie McCall. She suffered a life long battle with congenital heart disease, received a heart transplant, and sadly passed in 2007. She was a long time patient at Children's Hospital, and, fought the good fight for as long as she could. I will always admire her courage and will continue to ride in her honor.
Every kid, just like Logan and Leslie, deserves a fair chance!
The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children.
Thank you so much for your support!
