I have ridden the Courage Clasic three times previously, and not only does the ride support a great cause, but each time it is always moving to see riders of all ages on tandems with kids, or with jerserys, notes and even pictures on their backs.
This year we will be riding in memory of Cooper Demming. Cooper and Ella were in infant daycare together, then on the same baseball team, middle school cross country and more. Sadly Cooper contracted a brain tumor and passed just before his 13th birthday. The type of cancer that Cooper had (DIPG) currently has a zero percent survival rate. Our team is working to change that. Our goal is to raise $50,000 so that we can designate that money specifically to support research on this type of pediactric cancer.
Please donate to our team, to support this research, and the excellent care that Cooper, and so many other children, receive at Children's Hospital.
Many Thanks
