I am supporting the Courage Classic for our youth, especially the ones that are ill due to cancer.
In 2016 I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and underwent a 2 year treatment period. Just as I was finishing up my treatment period, my oldest son was diagnosed with Luekiemia. This was a much more involved treatment than mine. He is still on his road to recovery and is now in his long term maintaince treatment stage.
These are the challenges that many face every day, and my son and I are the lucky ones. There are many with much larger challenges who need every ounce of help that our most skilled professionals can provide.
Cancer is scary enough when an adult gets it, but it is even more so when children get it. It is sad and frustrating, and you want to move mountains to make this easier for them. This is why I feel strongly about helpping Children's Hospital and the Wheels of Justice (cancer focused) team this year.
The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children.
Please help me with a donation of support. We are thankful for any amount, so please know what you do is that much closer to helpping make it a better world for our children fighting illness.
