I'm riding this year to support kids and teens with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), their families, and the Children's Hospital Colorado Epidermolysis Bullosa Family Assistance Fund / Camp Spirit Colorado. EB is a devastating, life-limiting disease often referred to as “the worst disease you have never heard of"...
Without question, these kids and their families are my heroes in this world. As a part of their care team/family, I have the privilege of helping to optimize their medical health as these kids and teens make their impact in life. And their positive spirit shines through -- from having fun in school, to skiing (at Camp Spirit Colorado) and biking, to writing books and creating art, to traveling abroad and exploring locally -- these kids teach me (and everyone else around them) the value of humility, strength, and never giving up.
I'm hopeful that in the next decade, advances in curative therapies will mean the end of EB...So, this year I ride to honor all of my heroes and their families, and I commit to riding this every year from here on out until EB no longer is. Until then, please consider supporting me as I raise funds for the Children's Hospital Colorado EB Family Assistance Fund / Camp Spirit Colorado to make sure that all kids and their families have what they need to thrive.
Thank you for your support,
