Thank you to all of you who have donated! This is a really great cause!
For those of you who don't know, my sister Martha Riedel was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2015 when she was 13 years old. She has been battling on and off with this ever since and has been handling it like a CHAMP. She has recieved her treatment from Children's Hospital Colorado and our family is extremely grateful for their excellent care.
I am not actually going to be riding in the courage classic this year because I broke my wrist running a track and field event called steeple chase (look up videos of people falling during the steeple chase to get an idea of how this may have happened). I am, however, still going to the courage classic with my family and I will be running as an alternative to riding. My goal is to run 30 miles spread out between Saturday and Sunday.
Please consider donating! However much you can give still makes a difference! The money goes to the Children's Hospital of Colorado Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
Also please consider donating to my sister Martha's page. She is trying to be one of the top fundraisers this year, and she has cancer, and she is riding in the courage classic! Go support her! Here is the link to her fundraising page:
