I am riding in the Courage Classic again this year to raise money for Children's Hospital of Colorado and all the little fighters there. The Courage Classic is a two-day, 160 mile ride over five mountain passes. I have the privilege of riding with the Cardiac Climbers team in support of the Heart Institute.
Personally, I’m riding for a boy named Summit Goodyear. Summit was born with a congenital heart defect. He had his first of many surgeries just nine days after he was born, a three-step procedure to create normal blood flow in and out of his heart. Thanks to the great care that Summit is receiving at Children’s Hospital Colorado, he continues to stay one step ahead and is growing stronger by the day!
Summit and his family will not be the last to navigate such a frightening situation. The Courage Classic is both a personal challenge and an opportunity to support the kids and families who rely on Children's Colorado for care.
Please consider donating to my team, the Cardiac Climbers. Here, you can make an easy, tax-deductible donation. You'll be making a difference for a great cause!
Thanks in advance for your support!
