After many years of volunteering and watching Children's Hospital Colorado's Courage Classic, I am finally taking the leap and getting on the bike. I am starting off with *only* a 40 mile ride, from Copper Mountain to Vail and back.
I'm so proud to be riding with the GE Johnson Team. Their company, GE Johnson Construction Co, built Children's Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs so that my kids and our community can have the health care they deserve close to home. Since leaving Children's Hospital Colorado in 2019 as an employee, I have joined GE Johnson Foundation as their director and I'm so honored to be a small part of their huge impact.
This past year has been tough for so many, but especially for mission-based health care organizations like Children's Hospitla Colorado and their patient families. By supporting my ride, you are helping to ensure the hospital's mission in Colorado Springs, Colorado and beyond as the #4 children's hospital in the country and my region's only safety net hospital.
Thank you for supporting my ride and the hundreds of thousands of kids served by the hospital each year. And, wish me luck - I will need it!
