Why I ride
Dear Friends,
I am excited to be riding in my 5th Courage Classic bicycle tour benefitting Children's Hospital Colorado on July 20-21. This is the 14th year the Wheels of Justice team has participated in this tour, and last year our sponsors and more than 200 cyclists raised almost $400,000 for the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD). www.childrenscolorado.org/doctors-and-departments/departments/cancer-and-blood-disorders/
This year, I've again joined one of Wheels' partner teams - Jared's Google-Eyed Warriers. We ride in honor of Jared Lujan, the ultimate Google Eyed Warrior who fought a two and a half year battle with cancer that ended on April 4, 2006 when he was just 10-years old. To honor his life, courageous battle and the hospital that made such a difference during this battle, his parents and friends set up Jared’s Google Eyed Warrior Team ten years ago to ride in the Children’s Hospital Courage Classic.
I invite you to join me in improving medical care for the many kids served every year by Children’s Hospital Colorado's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause by making your tax-deductible donation online using the link below.
Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up! I greatly appreciate your support.
Sincerely,
Scott
