Why I ride
I am riding in the Courage Classic for a fourth consecutive year for our patients and their families in the Allergy & Immunology section at Children's Hospital Colorado. The Courage Classic represents so much of what I love about Children's Hospital Colorado - perseverance, strength, optimism, hope. It has also been a great personal challenge for me, from the first year struggling through the 40 miles rides to last year when I was able to complete back-to-back 80 mile rides.
I am excited to be able to participate in the Courage Classic once again and even more so to be a part of our fun and dynamic team, the Pollen Peloton, representing the Allergy & Immunology section! I am fortunate to work in a place where I get to see first hand the difference we can make in the lives of our kids and their families. In addition, I have the privilege to work alongside some of the most dedicated doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, and support staff around. Children's really is a special place and I am honored to take part in this challenging yet inspiring event once again. Thank you for your support - it DOES make a difference!
If you are interested in riding, we would love to have you join our team!
