Why I ride
I am riding in the Courage Classic for kids like Jared, Conner, and Caroline.
This will be my 13th consecutive Year riding for Children's. Jared's Googled Eyed Warrior team is partnered with Wheels of Justice, defeating pediatric cancer is the goal. The Courage Classic of 2007 was the first organized bike ride I ever did and it will always be my favorite ride because supporting Children's Hospital is a great cause, the challenge is amazing, the volunteers make it the best supported ride, and it is fun meeting other riders and their families all supporting Children's Hospital. The Courage the kids and their families at Children's Hospital have is very humbling. I am honored to be invited every year to ride to honor Jared and celebrate Conner.
This year (4th year) I am dedicating my Ride to a very special young warrior, Miss Caroline "Bear-o-line", my cousin who is battling Pulmonary Vein Stenosis. Caroline Bear-o-line and her family are amazing! She has quite the personality and has now had her 3rd birthday and it is great to see her at home. Yeah! She is paving the way for children with pulmonary vein stenosis (PVS). Determination! I have elected to ride the 80 mile Copper Triangle for day 1 and the 80 mile UTE Pass route for day 2 to Honor Jared and Conner and to raise awareness of PVS in Caroline's honor. Help me cross the finish line every day with encouragement and support Children's by donating to a great cause.
