Thank you For visiting!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my courage classic fundraising page. This is my 9th year participating in the event and is the highlight biking trip of the year for my wife and I! Over the last 8 years I have ridden over 1200 miles with 120K plus people, all in support of Childrens Hospital and all they do for our kids.
Why I ride
I ride for my family, my kids, my niece and all those that have spent too much time at a Childrens facility. I also ride for a once little guy, Noah! Noah was born with a congenital heart defect. Within his first few months of life, Noah’s treatment involved a hole being punctured in his heart and eventually open-heart surgery. Noah is now a healthy 13-year-old who rides in the Courage Classic thanks to the care he received at Children’s Colorado. His favorite day is not Christmas or even his birthday, but day 3 of the Courage Classic when he gets to hand out medals at the finish line.
Noah will not be the last child to face a life-threatening illness, and his family will not be the last to navigate a frightening diagnosis. The Courage Classic is both a personal challenge and an opportunity to support positive outcomes for kids and families who need Children's Colorado.
For all of you who have a story like Noah's, I ride for you!
For all of you who have been to Children's, I ride for you!
For all of you who have healthy kids, be thankful! Don't take health for granted! I am riding for you and all families that may need Childrens' services one day.
I ride for you!
Thank you for the generosity, thank you!!
