I am participating for my 9th time in the Courage Classic. This year the event will return to a one day bike ride.
Like so many things during COVID-19, the Courage Classic 2021 has had to make adjustments.
It is my ongoing desire to honor the memory of my dear granddaughter, Hazel, who would have been 10 years old on April 9th this year. She lost her battle with Ependymoma at the age of 3 years and 4 months. BUT she lived a very full life and impacted many people for the better with her spirit and love.
I am part of The H-Team, which is for Hazel and a larger team, The Wheels of Justice. The funds we raise go directly to the outpatient center, The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD), where Hazel received most of her care and cancer treatments. Childhood cancer has not taken a break during these pandemic months. If you able to support me for Hazel and the CCBD, I am deeply grateful.
Stay well and strong. Remember Hazel says “GO!”
