Dear Family and Friends,
Jill and I are back to do another year of the Courage Classic. We do it because we love to ride, for the physical challenge and most importantly to help raise money for the Children's Hospital. This will be my 16th and Jill’s 11th.
As our 2 boys - Skyler and Cameron explore and challenge themselves - which of course sometimes leads to the bumps and bruises (unfortunately this year, concussion) - it is a tremendous comfort to know that if we do have to go seek medical attention - that they will receive great care, and that also the treatments have long term implications in mind.
The ride will cover 5 mountain passes and 158 miles over two days. We’ve been doing our best to train given work and kids schedules (I have been getting up at 4:45 am 3 days a week to at least get an hour ride in) but it will definitely be the most challenging thing we do all summer.
Anyways, thanks for your consideration and support for our ride.
