Hi, I'm Matt!
I teach stand skiing, sit skiing, ski biking, and snowboarding with Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) at Children's Hospital Colorado. Partnering with the National Sports Center for the Disabled and Winter Park, ARCH fosters confidence and independence among young athletes.
As snow melts and cyclists return to mountain roads, the Courage Classic bicycle tour challenges riders like me to pedal for a cause. This year, we are Courage Classic-ing at a distance, thankful for everyone sacrificing and working hard to keep our communities safe and healthy.
What hasn't changed this year is the Courage Classic's impact: volunteering at the hospital and on the slopes, I see firsthand how even the smallest gifts can comfort, inspire, or prompt gleeful smiles among kids and families.
Thank you for considering Team Courage Supporting ARCH, whether by donating any amount or joining us for a virtual walk, run, or ride. You can help make the outdoors fun for everyone!
ARCH provides recreational resources and programs for children, teens and young adults with physical disabilities. By focusing on individual abilities, this program seeks to help kids develop skills that lead to a lifetime of healthy leisure and awareness.
